As Nigerians across the world welcome the new year 2025, the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has delivered an inspiring message of hope, unity, and determination for a better future.
In his new year message, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin urged Nigerians to maintain a positive outlook and focus on contributing to the state and nation’s growth as well as it’s prosperity.
Acknowledging the challenges facing the country, the Ibarapa born two term speaker of Oyo state Assembly emphasized the importance of resilience and optimism in navigating difficult times.
“The new year 2025 presents an opportunity for Nigerians to tap into the numerous opportunities and endless possibilities that abound in our great nation,” Ogundoyin said.
He stressed that a positive mindset in the new year can boost confidence and rekindle hope for a brighter future.
Ogundoyin called on citizens to actively contribute to the nation’s economic growth and to remain committed to building a better Nigeria for themselves and future generations.
He equally expressed his belief that the country will overcome its current difficulties and emerge stronger.
“I am optimistic that Nigeria will experience greatness and a significant turnaround in 2025,” Ogundoyin added.
Ogundoyin also expressed felicitation to the Executive Council of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures and his fellow State Speakers across the country.
He expressed particular gratitude to his colleagues in the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly for their dedication and collaboration.
“I want to wish Nigerians a happy new year 2025. I also extend the same to all honorable members of State Assemblies in Nigeria. May this year be productive and positive for us all. I pray for sound health and mind for us to excel in our legislative duties,” he concluded.
