The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, Asiwaji Akeem Olatunji, has expressed felicitations to the South-West Zonal Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaja Bose Adedibu, and the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke, on the occasion of their birthday anniversaries.
In his congratulatory message made available to the press in Ibadan on Thursday, Olatunji described Alhaja Adedibu as a “pillar of strength, vision, and courage within the PDP family,” while commending her enduring contributions to the growth of the party not only in Oyo State but across the entire South-West geopolitical zone.
He noted that Alhaja Adedibu’s unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilization, women’s empowerment, and the overall advancement of party ideals has continued to earn her wide admiration.
“Alhaja Bose Adedibu is a rare gem and an embodiment of tested loyalty and leadership. Her wealth of experience remains invaluable to our party’s fortunes in the South-West.
“Alhaja Adedibu’s versatility and pragmatism have not only earned her wide admiration across all party levels within the PDP but have also made admirable to the coming generation as a political role model.
“She is not only a leader but a mother to most of us who have been sons and daughters to her and drawing from her vast wealth of experience since the time of her late husband, the political king of Molete, Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu,” Olatunji stated.
Similarly, Olatunji congratulated Miss Wasilat Adegoke on over her attainment of the new age describing her as a pragmatic young political leader with bright future ahead of her in governance.
“Miss Adegoke represents the energy and brilliance of a new generation. Being the State Commissioners is not only a win for the youths constituency but also a sign of Governor Makinde’s visionary governance. I have no doubt in her brilliant ideas and dynamism that have brought transformation to sports development and youth engagement in Oyo State,” he said.
He called on women and youths in Oyo State to draw inspiration from the two leaders’ stories, and urged them to remain active participants in governance and political development.
