The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has expressed warm birthday felicitations to the Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun, popularly known as ‘Agboworin’, and Alhaji Ridwan Olajide, a UK based Oluyole political stakeholder.
In a congratulatory message released to commemorate the dual birthday anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 28, Olatunji described Hon. Agboworin as a dedicated federal legislator whose commitment to grassroots development and service delivery has continued to uplift lives across his federal constituency and Ibadanland.
He stated that such special occasion serve as a reminder for all humans to count their blessings and appreciate God for how far they have come in the struggles and journey of life.
He noted that the second term federal lawmaker has been a blessing not only to his constituency but a political asset to the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo state.
“Today, I join the good people of Oyo State and well-wishers across Nigeria to celebrate a political juggernaut and a performing lawmaker, Hon. Abass Adigun, ‘Agboworin’.
“His selfless service to the people and outstanding representation of his federal constituency at the National Assembly are worthy of commendation and emulation.
“We can not but celebrate his accomplishments as a political leader and a good representative of his constituents and constituency, ” Olatunji stated.
The council boss equally lauded Alhaji Ridwan Olajide, an influential stakeholder in Oluyole politics and a supportive political associate noting his unrelenting support and guidance for younger political leaders in the council area.
“Alhaji Olajide is a family figure to me whose wisdom, counsel, and consistent dedication to communal growth had continued to inspire many of us in public service,” he added.
Olatunji prayed for continued health, wisdom, and prosperity for both celebrants, urged them to remain strong pillars in the ongoing mission to deliver good governance and sustainable development in Oluyole LG and Oyo State at large.
