The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji has described the Oyo State Commissioner for Energy, Professor Dawud Sangodoyin, and the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Falana, as two remarkable personalities driving the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde’s Sustainable Development agenda.
This was as the Council boss noted that their contributions to the development of Oyo state and the growth of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remain immeasurable.
Olatunji, who made this known in a statement on Monday, August 18, commended the duo for their selflessness and commitment to the administration of Governor Makinde.
He described them as “exceptional team players whose dedication continues to add value to governance in Oyo State.”
He noted that Prof Sangodoyin’s stewardship formerly at the Ministry of Works and now in the Energy has brought about pragmatic reforms.
He added that Prof Sangodoyin’s creative ideas and initiatives in stakeholders relationship management as well as of Energy generation coordination, and revenue generation drive towards a sustainable and self sufficient Oyo have remained commendable.
On Prince Falana, the Oluyole LG boss lauded his youth-oriented policies and programs, particularly in entrepreneurship and capacity building, which he said are empowering thousands of young people across the state to become self-reliant and productive.
“Both of you have consistently demonstrated the virtues of leadership with vision, humility, and selflessness.
“Your roles in driving the governor’s sustainable development agenda are highly commendable and deserve to be celebrated,” Olatunji stated.
He however, urged them not to relent in their responsibilities, emphasizing that the success of their efforts is directly linked to the welfare of the people and the overall progress of Oyo State.
Olatunji also reassured that Oluyole Local Government remains solidly committed to partnering with state agencies and ministries in the collective task of delivering good governance to the people especially at the grassroots.
