The Executive Assistant on Security Matters to Oyo State Governor, Retired Commissioner of Police, Sunday Odukoya, has expressed warm felicitations to wife of the Governor and First Lady of Oyo State, Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde on the auspicious occasion of her 52nd birthday anniversary celebration.
Odukoya hailed the First Lady as an embodiment of the virtuous woman depicted in biblical scriptures describing her as a strong pillar of strength behind the scene not only to the governor and immediate family members but also to aides of the governor in the service of Oyo state.
He commended her unwavering dedication to uplifting the welfare of women and children in the state, citing her numerous initiatives socio-economic empowerment schemes aimed at empowering and improving their livelihoods.
The retired police commissioner who is also a second term Executive Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters also praised the First Lady’s exemplary leadership and commitment to societal development, noting her significant contributions to women and children healthcare, education, and empowerment programs across the state are worthy of emulation.
Odukoya highlighted the First Lady’s compassion and empathy towards the less privileged and underpinned her relentless efforts in providing support and assistance to vulnerable individuals and families within the state.
“It is on record that wife of His Excellency, the executive governor of Oyo state, Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, is not only a cerebral woman and an already accomplished person at 52, she’s is typically an example of the Biblical virtuous woman and indeed pride of womanhood.
“The entire Oyo state and indeed all of us working with the governor are blessed to have such a woman with great affluence and influence yet humble and very accessible.
“Despite her her very demanding daily routine as a wife, mother, mentor, role model and leader to many within and outside of Oyo state and Nigeria, our First Lady has consistently maintained firm balance between her private and public life.
“The impacts of her contributions to the development and growth of our society via her strong advocacy for child’s right and women socio-economic emancipation remain indelible, and posterity will surely be kind to her as a woman who fought the good fight.
“On this note, I wish to on behalf of my family wish Her Excellency, many more years of great accomplishments in good health and sound mind in order to continue to do more for humanity at large.” Odukoya stated.
