Engineer Akeem Olatunji, the executive chairman of Oluyole local government, has joined family and other well wishers to felicitate his counterpart in Egbeda, Honourable Sikuru Sanda on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebration today.
Olatunji in his congratulatory message on Monday afternoon described Sanda, who is the Chairman of ALGON (Association of Local Government of Nigeria) Oyo state chapter, as a vibrant and pragmatic politician who has distinguished himself as a respected leader in Egbeda LG.
The Oluyole council boss noted that Sanda has carved for himself an impressive political antecedent and track record within the political landscape of the state having served as a former member of Oyo state House of Assembly and a second term executive chairman of Egbeda LG.
According to Olatunji, his relationship with Sanda has over the years transcended politics to personal level, helping them to bond and grow together as disciples of the Seyi Makinde political dynasty otherwise referred to as the ‘GSM School of Politics’.
While lauding Sanda for his personal and political accomplishments, Olatunji noted that Sanda is still full of life and things to offer Oyo state in terms of service and leadership.
He called on younger generation of politicians particularly in Egbeda LG to emulate Sanda liberalism and simplicity devoid of political animosity within his territory and by extension the state at large.
He therefore, wished Sanda continuous success in his private and public life particularly in the service of Egbeda local government and Oyo state at large.
