As political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders in Oyo Federal Constituency have called for a shift toward people-centered representation.
They emphasized the need for leadership rooted in service, accountability, and grassroots connection.
Amid these growing expecconnection former member of the 9th Oyo state House of Assembly who represented Oyo East/West state constituency, and an aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives seat ahead of the 2027 general election, Hon. Isiaka Kazeem Babatunde popularly known as ‘Arole’, has declared his intention to contest.
This was as the former state lawmaker pledging to prioritize the welfare and development of the federal constituency.
His declaration, which is already stirring conversations across political circles, is anchored on what he described as “a commitment to purposeful and impactful representation.”
Speaking with supporters, Arole noted that leadership should transcend mere occupation of office, stressing that true governance lies in delivering tangible benefits to the people.
