The Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Olubunmi Isioye Dada is dead.
A palace source who preferred anonymity confirmed the news of his death to our correspondent in a telephone chat.
He stated that Oba Isioye-Dada died after a brief illness in his home in Ibadan.
The source added that the delegation of Omo Oye has left for his house.
Oba Isioye-Dada until his death was Osi Balogun of Ibadanland.
His death has created rooms for the promotion of Chiefs and High chiefs on the Balogun line including the governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Senator Sharafadeen Ali.
Ali, after the approval of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Ali will be promoted from Ekaarun Balogun to Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland.
Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin will move from Ekerin Balogun to Asipa Balogun of Ibadanland
