Mogaji Oladosu Ademola Olasomi, Vice Chairman, Pacesetter Transport Services Board, Oyo State, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde, on their installation as the Aare and Yeye Asoludero of Ibarapaland.
The chieftaincy title conferment, which took place on Saturday, was held as part of activities marking the first coronation anniversary of the Eleruwa of Eruwaland, His Royal Majesty Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola Ajobo Olurin I.
In a congratulatory message made available to westernmirror.com.ng on Saturday, Mogaji Olasomi described the conferment of the prestigious titles on the governor and his wife as a well-deserved honour and recognition of their contributions to the development of Oyo State and the people of Ibarapaland.
He commended the traditional institution and people of Ibarapaland for recognising the governor’s efforts in promoting development, peace and unity across the state.
According to him, the honour further demonstrates the cordial relationship between the Makinde administration and traditional institutions in Oyo State.
Mogaji Olasomi said Governor Makinde had continued to provide purposeful leadership while implementing policies and projects geared towards improving the welfare and living conditions of residents.
He also congratulated Mrs Makinde on her installation as Yeye Asoludero, describing the title as an honour that reflects her contributions to the administration and society.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and strength for the governor and his wife as they assume their new traditional responsibilities.
Mogaji Olasomi further wished the governor and his wife many more years of impactful service, while expressing confidence that their new roles would further strengthen their commitment to the development of Ibarapaland and Oyo State.
He also congratulated the Eleruwa of Eruwaland and the people of Ibarapaland for a successful coronation anniversary celebration and the conferment of the chieftaincy titles.
