The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a change in the venue and time for its forthcoming National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

The meeting, initially slated to hold at the party’s national secretariat on Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja, will now take place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the venue change was necessitated by “logistical reasons.”

“The change of venue from the party’s National Secretariat to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja is due to logistical reasons,” Morka stated.

The NEC meeting is expected to address several critical issues, including the leadership vacuum following the resignation of former National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, in June. Ganduje stepped down citing health concerns.

Party sources indicate that the current acting chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, may continue in an interim capacity until a formal elective convention is conducted.

Other key agenda items include updates from the Constitution Review Committee and a review of the party’s e-registration initiative, both of which are considered crucial to the APC’s strategic preparations for the 2027 general elections.
