As part of tribute to the governor’s close ally, th Executive Assistant on Security Matters, Compol Sunday Odukoya (rtd), has lauded the remarkable contributions of Otunba Seye Famojuro, to the growth and development of Oyo state.
Describing him as a staunch defender of the oppressed and a leading advocate of inclusive governance, Odukoya lauded Otunba Famojuro for what he termed his unrelenting commitment to fighting for the less privileged.
The commendation comes as Otunba Famojuro marks another milestone in his service to humanity on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebration, held annually on February 14.
Odukoya further highlighted Famojuro’s dedication to justice, his supportive role in helping his office as the Governor’s Executive Assistant on Security Matters to achieve unprecedented success in maintaining public peace and Orderliness.
A congratulatory message personally signed by the retired Commissioner of Police on Thursday evening also described Otunba Famojuro as a dependable and trusted personality who has continued to display rare level of selflessness as his backbone in carrying out the duties of his office as an executive assistant on security matters to the governor.
Describing Otunba Famojuro as his strong pillar of support, Odukoya noted that Otunba Famojuro’s incredible skill in human interpersonal relation and relationship management has aided his work in his proactiveness towards security matters across the state.
“Otunba Seye Famojuro is not just a political strategist but a man who has consistently used his influence for the good of the people of Oyo state.
“He has been a pillar of support for the downtrodden, ensuring that fairness, equity, and justice remain at the forefront in all his dealings,” Odukoya stated.
He added that over the years, Otunba Famojuro has played critical role in various strategic efforts aimed at enhancing security, economic development, and grassroots empowerment.
“His close association with the governor has been greatly instrumental in driving impactful security policies and programs while maintaining enhanced security across the 33 local government areas,” Odukoya added.
While expressing his heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Otunba Famojuro’s birthday anniversary celebration, Odukoya reiterated the need for continuous support and cooperation for governor Makinde’s government and Otunba Famojuro in his deliberate effort to continue providing the needed support for his office to achieve its mandate on security matters.
