Ibadan born Ondo Bobadara of Sooro Kingdom, Chief Olabode Oladipo has penned a heartfelt felicitation to the wife of the Governor and First Lady of Oyo State, Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on the auspicious occasion of her 52nd birthday anniversary celebration.
Celebrating her life as a beacon of affluence, influence, and humility, Chief Olabode popularly known as BODMAS, commended the First Lady for her unwavering commitment to uplifting the lives of the people of Oyo State.
In his felicitation message forwarded to westernmirror.com.ng on Sunday afternoon, he highlighted Mrs. Makinde’s remarkable journey, from the corporate world and private life into public service to becoming a symbol of women socio-economic emancipation advocate of child’s rights particularly, the girl child.
“Your life embodies the essence of affluence, not just in material wealth, but in the richness of character and generosity towards others,” Chief Bobadara said.
Furthermore in his message, Chief Olabode said: “Your influence extends far beyond the corridors of power within and outside the shores of Nigeria, touching the lives of countless individuals through your advocacy and numerous empowerment schemes and initiatives.”
While acknowledging the First Lady’s humility despite her elevated position in terms of social and economic status, Chief Bobadara, who hails from Ido local government, ward 4, praised her for remaining grounded and accessible to the people around her.
He emphasized the importance of humility in leadership and commended her for setting a shining example for others to follow.
“As Oyo State continues to navigate challenges and pursue real time development and economic progress under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, we must consistently be reminded of how lucky we are as a people in this era to have such a large and kind hearted First Lady holding forth as strong voice for the voiceless in our society.
