The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji has extended congratulations to Otunba Ademola Ojo ‘Ijaya’, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in Oyo State, on his birthday.

In a felicitation statement released today, Olatunji lauded Otunba Ojo for his important role in strengthening the connection between the state government and grassroots communities development.

Olatunji lauded Otunba Ojo’s exceptional efforts since assumption of office in promoting unity and advancing the course of grassroots development.

Olatunji stated that the wast experience of the Commissioner as a former local government executive chairman as well as ALGON chairman in the state have been brought to bear in his approach to dealing with LG chairmen.

He described the Commissioner as a dependable and trusted politician in the cabinet of Oyo state making him proud as a chairman of Oluyole local government.

He noted that Otunba Ojo’s guidance and timely interventions on issues bothering on grassroots development have been impressive and commendable.

While praying for more wisdom and deeper political sagacity to enable him achieve more in office in terms of grassroots development drive, Olatunji assured that he would continue to support the commissioner in his efforts to fulfill his mandate as a Commissioner.

“The Honorable Commissioner, Otunba Ademola Ojo has truly exemplified what it means to be a bridge builderbuilder with his style and problem solving approach.

“His dedication to reconnecting the state’s leadership with its grassroots is transforming the way local governance operates, making it more responsive and effective.

“Under Otunba Ojo’s leadership in the all important Ministry of LG and Chieftaincy Matters, there has been a synergistic improvement in the way local governments engage with residents, addressing their concerns and needs more efficiently.

“His approach embodies a model of collaborative governance which ensures that the benefits of state policies and programs are felt directly at the grassroots level.” Olatunji said.

He prayed for long life in good health and rallied more support for the commissioner in the discharge of his duties.
