Governor Seyi Makinde has approved hazard allowance for personnel of the Oyo state Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA).
The Governor also stated that the approval takes effect from August 1, 2024.
Governor Makinde stated this at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Iseyin, on Monday, July 29 during the passing out parade of the newly recruited 500 OYRTMA Personnel.
According to the governor, the approval was in recognition of the agency’s achievements in road management across the state.
He stated that the approval would serve as a moral booster for more effectiveness and efficiency towards work.
The governor reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the state workforce, assuring that his administration will continue to prioritize the well-being of its workers.
“I heard your request for hazard allowance and it’s approved with effect from 1st of August, 2024.” Makinde said.
