The Civil Society Network on Peace and Restorative Justice (CSNEPRJ) has heaped praises on the management and community of CLOFAM Group of Schools for their exceptional contributions to the growth and development of education in Nigeria.
The commendation was given during a courtesy visit by the CSNEPRJ National Executives to CLOFAM Prayer City, Aba Alayan, Ibadan, as part of the organisation’s education-focused advocacy tour.
The organisation described the school as a shining light and beacon of hope for underprivileged children and a model of educational excellence with a record of about 62 percent of the total students in the institution on scholarship.
He appealed to the state government to as a matter of urgency and necessity, set up a Social wmWelfare Trust Fund to serve as a source of financial support for organizations and institutions dedicated to uplifting the society through humanitarian works.
Speaking during the visit, the First Vice Chairman of CSNEPRJ, Hon. Josiah Oluwafemi, a former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly and ex Special Assistant on Community Relations to Governor Seyi Makinde, said he was deeply impressed by the academic facilities, serene environment, and the school’s inclusive approach to education.
“I am highly impressed with what I have seen at CLOFAM Prayer City. The Group of Schools has significantly reduced the number of out-of-school children in Oyo State.
“More importantly, they have created a platform for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to access quality education without discrimination.
“That is why CSNEPRJ is proud to partner with CLOFAM to sustain and expand this impact,” Hon. Josiah stated.
Highlighting the shared vision between both institutions, Hon. Josiah added that CLOFAM’s model aligns perfectly with CSNEPRJ’s mission to promote peace, justice, and social development through education.
The CSNEPRJ Team Lead, Professor Adegbolagun Ademola George, also commended CLOFAM’s leadership for complementing government efforts to address educational inequality, particularly through innovative solutions such as the Oyo State Alternative School System (OYSASS) and the School-Inside-School model.
“These models are designed to create alternative learning pathways for children who cannot attend conventional schools, whether due to financial hardship, cultural barriers, or displacement.
“CLOFAM has shown that it is possible to blend academic excellence with social responsibility, and that is a model worth emulating,” Prof. George said.
Responding, the Proprietor of CLOFAM Group of Schools expressed gratitude to CSNEPRJ for the recognition and pledged the school’s continued commitment to uplifting children through education.
“At CLOFAM, our mission is not just to teach; it is to transform lives. We believe every child is capable of greatness if given the right environment and opportunities.
“We are deeply honoured by CSNEPRJ’s commendation, and we see this partnership as an opportunity to expand our outreach to even more children who might otherwise be left behind,”
He further explained that CLOFAM has, over the years, implemented scholarship schemes, free tuition programs for orphans and indigent pupils, and community-based literacy campaigns aimed at tackling illiteracy in rural areas.
Both parties used the occasion to reaffirm their shared commitment to deepening collaboration.
Plans were also discussed for joint teacher training workshops, public sensitisation campaigns on education rights, and targeted interventions in communities with high numbers of out-of-school children.

With this partnership, CSNEPRJ and CLOFAM have resolved they are determined to create a future in which no child in Oyo State is denied education due to poverty, social status, or circumstance.
