In a message commemorating Nigeria’s Democracy Day held on June 12, spiritual leader and founder of the One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has berated Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the former spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), accusing him of disrespecting the office of the President and undermining national unity.

Maharaj Ji also carpeted Baba-Ahmed’s recent criticisms of President Tinubu as “public display of lack of decorum.”

“At this stage of Baba-Ahmed’s public display of lack of decorum like the spoilt child of the rich’ I insist that the former spokesman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) must be put in his place,” Maharaj Ji said.

Maharaj Ji criticized Baba-Ahmed for rejecting an appointment from President Tinubu and then “going to town” with public accusations against the president.

“Hakeem Baba Ahmed is at liberty to be infantile at his age but not to the extent of spitting at the President of Nigeria,” he said, emphasizing that while Bola Tinubu may be a person, President Tinubu is the sovereign leader of the nation and deserves full respect.

Maharaj Ji further accused Baba-Ahmed of representing a political agenda centered on what he termed ‘Fulani domination’ and claimed that he and the NEF have long been symbols of feudal oppression in Nigeria.

“So far, Hakeem Baba Ahmed has been a most nuisance member of the Koran-wielding and British (and Saudi) supervised feudalist coven that ran Nigeria aground,” Maharaj Ji said.

He warned Baba-Ahmed and his political allies—mentioning former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and others—against destabilizing the country through tribal or religious politics.

“This is not the time to allow desert snakes and Sahel hyenas who insist Nigeria is their birthright… to have their way against truth, equity and fairness in our only country,” he warned.

Satguru Maharaj Ji urged Nigeria’s youth to resist being manipulated into hostility toward the Tinubu administration. Instead, he called for support of what he termed a “New Nigeria” that is gradually taking shape.

“President Tinubu is not a saint but he is certainly more serious than the entire ruling elites of the nation about laying critical administrative foundation for realistic, fair and balanced economic growth in Nigeria,” he stated.

He described the Tinubu presidency as a divine mandate, going as far as to announce:

“I have signed, sealed and delivered the victory of the 2027 Presidential Elections on behalf of the good people of Africa and the world to HRH, President Tinubu.”

Maharaj Ji concluded his message with a stark ultimatum for Hakeem Baba-Ahmed:

“He has just two options: stop insulting and harassing Mr. President or face the karmic fire of humiliation and disgrace.”
