As the festive spirit of Christmas envelops the globe, Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has celebrated Governor Seyi Makinde on his birthday, which coincides with Christmas Day, December 25th.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Alhaji Oyetunji Oyekunle, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin lauded Governor Makinde, describing him as a remarkable leader and a precious gift to Oyo State.

The Speaker highlighted the Governor’s exemplary governance and unwavering dedication to the development and prosperity of the state.

“Hearty congratulations to our amiable Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his birthday celebration this year. Your Excellency, this is another time to celebrate the good person you are.

“You are the best thing that has ever happened to Oyo State. Your selfless service, exemplary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of our people have made a significant impact on our dear state,” Ogundoyin said.

He further prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the Governor, wishing him good health, wisdom, and strength to sustain his efforts in advancing the state.

Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin also commended the Governor’s strides in infrastructure, education, and healthcare development, emphasizing that his transformational initiatives have positively touched the lives of citizens across the state.

The Speaker equally extended his Christmas greetings to Christians in Oyo State and beyond, urging them to embrace the essence of the season.

He encouraged citizens to reflect on the virtues of love, peace, and generosity, as exemplified by the life of Jesus Christ, whose birth is celebrated on Christmas.
