Chief Mrs. Omokemi Oladipo, the Yeye Bobadara of Ikale, has expressed confidence that the newly elected Governor of Ondo state, Luck Aiyedatiwa’s victory will herald a new era of development and economic progress for the state.
In a statement released to westernmirror.com.ng on Friday, Chief (Mrs.) Oladipo, the Yeye Bobadara of Ikale Kingdom in Okitipupa local government, stated that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership would bring about comprehensive infrastructural advancements, economic growth, and enhanced social welfare for the people of Ondo State.
The chartered accountant equally rally support for the newly elected Governor to enable him focus on the business of governance and bring about the much anticipated economic reforms and policies that would alleviate the suffering of the people of Ondo state.
“We have no doubt that the victory of Governor Aiyedatiwa will mark the beginning of a new phase of development in Ondo State.
“His administration in the last one year has already demonstrated a strong commitment to uplifting the people of the state, and we believe that this will continue, especially for the Ikale people, who have long been advocates of better governance and development.” She said.
Chief (Mrs.) Oladipo highlighted the strides made by the current administration in Ondo state in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure, noting that Aiyedatiwa’s plans for the future were aligned with the aspirations of the people of the sunshine State.
She particularly pointed to the ongoing infrastructural projects in Ikale land and the overall improvements in the area’s local economy as indicative of Aiyedatiwa’s focus on sustainable development.
“The Governor has already initiated key projects that have had a positive impact and we are confident that his continued leadership will ensure that the state receives even more attention in terms of development, job creation, and empowerment for our youth,” Chief Oladipo added.
The Yeye Bobadara also spoke on the importance of unity and peace ahead of Aiyedatiwa’s inauguration, calling on all Ondo State residents to rally behind the Governor’s vision for a prosperous state.
She further emphasized that Aiyedatiwa’s electoral victory was indicative of progress and unity in the state, transcending political differences.
“We need to ensure that we all work together, irrespective of political, religious, and ethnicities to support a government that is committed to moving Ondo State forward,” she appealed.
