The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Adebo Ogundoyin, has been honored with the Award of Outstanding Performance by the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), Oyo State Chapter.
The award was presented to Ogundoyin during the official inauguration of PASAN’s newly elected Executive Council.
The event held today at the Western Hall of State Parliamentary Complex, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.
In his acceptance speech, the Speaker expressed deep gratitude to the legislative staff and acknowledged their dedication and hard work in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Assembly.
He emphasized that the award was a testament to their collective efforts in upholding the integrity and efficiency of legislative processes.
“I am deeply humbled by this recognition from PASAN. This award is not just for me but for every member of our legislative staff who works tirelessly behind the scenes.
“Your commitment is the backbone of our success, and I am committed to supporting you every step of the way,” the Speaker stated.
As the 2025 legislative year continues, Ogundoyin urged PASAN members to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence and assured them of his continued support in enhancing their welfare and professional development.
The event, which took place at the Oyo State House of Assembly complex in Ibadan, was attended by key legislative officials, government representatives, and PASAN members.
The newly inaugurated PASAN leadership pledged to work towards advancing the interests of parliamentary staff and promoting better working conditions, and enhancing legislative service delivery.
