The Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has expressed birthday felicitations to the First Lady of Oyo State, Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, as she marks her 53rd birthday anniversary.
In a statement on Monday by the Speaker’s Media Aide, Alh. Oyetunji Oyekunle, the Speaker described Mrs. Makinde as a symbol of grace, compassion, and dedicated service to humanity.
“Her Excellency, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, exemplifies the virtues of humility, strength, and dedication. Her contributions to the welfare of women, children, and the vulnerable members of the society have left an indelible mark on our state,” Ogundoyin noted.
The Speaker also praised the First Lady for her consistent support for her husband, Governor Seyi Makinde, and her positive impact on the people of Oyo State.
“As she celebrates, we pray for continued strength, good health, and divine guidance for Her Excellency. May she continue to inspire and impact lives positively,” he added.
Highlighting her legacies, Ogundoyin said: “53 years of love, compassion and kindness. You are a shining example of strength and elegance.
“Wishing Her Excellency a happy celebration. Fifty-three years young, with a heart full of love and a spirit that is ageless and angelic. May this celebration mark the beginning of a new chapter in your life.”
He concluded by reaffirming the Assembly’s admiration and appreciation of Mrs. Makinde’s influence and accomplishments.
