Oyo State has lost one of its former lawmakers, Honourable Abdulganiyu Oseni, popularly known as Ayesoro.
Oseni, who represented the Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency in the 8th Oyo State House of Assembly, passed away after what sources described as a period of illness.
He served in the Assembly during the administration of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, having been elected in 2015 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A family member confirmed his passing to newsmen on Tuesday morning, describing it as a painful loss to both the family and his political community.
While details surrounding his death remain sketchy as of press time, reports suggest that the former legislator had been battling health challenges for some time.
