The executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has congratulated the First Lady of Oyo State, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary, describing her as a woman of virtue whose leadership and motherly disposition have continued to inspire women across the state and beyond.

Olatunji stated this in a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Tuesday.

The Council boss lauded the First Lady for her selflessness and unrelenting commitment to the welfare of women, children and vulnerable groups, noting that her interventions and advocacy programmes have complemented the developmental agenda of the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.

The council chairman said Engr. Makinde’s guidance, exemplary leadership and motherly role have significantly assisted the wives of local government chairmen and other women leaders in advancing grassroots social development initiatives across communities in Oyo State.

According to him, the First Lady has remained a dependable source of inspiration for women who are actively involved in humanitarian and community-based projects aimed at improving the lives of residents at the grassroots.

“On behalf of the government and people of Oluyole Local Government, I warmly felicitate our amiable mother and First Lady, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, on the auspicious occasion of her birthday anniversary.

“Your guidance, leadership qualities and motherly role have continued to provide direction and encouragement to our wives and women leaders who are championing various grassroots social development programmes across the state.

“Through your passion for the welfare of women, children and the less privileged, you have touched countless lives and strengthened the social fabric of our communities. Your commitment to service and humanity remains worthy of emulation,” Olatunji stated.

The council chairman further commended the First Lady’s support for initiatives geared towards women’s empowerment, healthcare awareness, child protection and family development, saying such efforts have contributed immensely to the socio-economic advancement of Oyo State.

He prayed for continued divine wisdom, sound health and greater accomplishments for Engr. Makinde as she celebrates another year, expressing confidence that her positive impact on society would continue to grow in the years ahead.

Olatunji also reaffirmed the support of the Oluyole Local Government administration for programmes and policies that promote social inclusion, community development and the welfare of residents across the council area.
