The Executive Assistant on Security Matters to Oyo State Governor, Compol Sunday Odukoya (rtd.), has described the First Lady of Oyo State, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, as a virtuous woman whose life and service have become a shining beacon of hope, compassion and inspiration to women across the state and beyond.
In his heartwarming congratulatory message to commemorate her birthday anniversary, Odukoya extolled the sterling qualities of the First Lady, noting that she has continued to embody grace, humility and uncommon commitment to humanitarian causes.
According to him, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde has become a strong pillar of support to Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, complementing government efforts through initiatives that uplift vulnerable groups, empower women and nurture the aspirations of young people.
He described her as “the pride of womanhood,” whose virtues illuminate lives much like a lighthouse guiding sailors through turbulent waters.
“On this special occasion of your birthday anniversary, I join numerous well-wishers to celebrate a woman of substance, a compassionate mother and an exceptional leader.
“Your life reflects the timeless virtues of kindness, diligence and selfless service,” Odukoya stated.
He noted that beyond occupying the position of First Lady, Engr. Makinde has distinguished herself as a caring mother to many, whose doors remain open to the less privileged, widows, children and other vulnerable members of society.
The governor’s aide likened her impact to a fertile tree planted by the riverside, whose branches provide shelter while its fruits nourish countless lives.
“Your interventions in areas of women empowerment, child welfare and social development have left indelible footprints on the sands of time.
“Through your compassion and dedication, many families have found hope and renewed confidence in the future,” he said.
Odukoya further commended the First Lady’s unrelenting commitment to promoting family values, peaceful coexistence and community development, describing her contributions as invaluable to the progress being recorded in Oyo State.
He said her gentle disposition conceals an inner strength that has enabled her to champion noble causes and positively influence countless lives across communities.
“As you celebrate another remarkable year, it is my prayer that God grants you greater wisdom, sound health, abundant joy and many more fruitful years in service to humanity.
“May your light continue to shine brightly and may your impact continue to resonate across generations,” he added.
The security aide expressed confidence that the First Lady would continue to inspire women to break barriers, pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
He wished her a memorable birthday celebration filled with happiness, fulfilment and God’s abundant blessings, while praying for continued success in all her endeavours.
