A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Isiaka Kazeem popularly known as Arole, has expressed felicitations with an illustrious son of the ancient Oyo Kingdom, Alhaji Wasiu Adebisi, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
Arole described Alhaji Adebisi as a distinguished patriot and a worthy ambassador of Oyo Alaafin.
Arole, in his birthday message on Saturday, August 15, extolled Adebisi’s virtues, describing him as a man whose contributions to the development of his place of origin and the nation have continued to earn him respect and admiration.
He noted that Alhaji Adebisi, an indigenous contractor with the Federal Government, had distinguished himself through hard work, commitment and dedication to his chosen endeavours.
According to him, Alhaji Adebisi represents the enduring values of the ancient Oyo Kingdom, particularly diligence, resilience, service and commitment to the advancement of society.
The former lawmaker said the celebrant’s achievements in advancing the course of the nation’s economy had not only brought honour to his immediate family but had also demonstrated the capacity of indigenes of Oyo Alaafin to excel and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Arole described Alhaji Adebisi as “an illustrious son of the ancient kingdom whose life and achievements remain a source of pride to all Oyo sons and daughters both home and abroad.”
He prayed for the continued good health, wisdom, prosperity and longevity of the celebrant, urging him to remain committed to the ideals of service, grassroots development and peaceful coexistence among his people.
“On this special occasion of your birthday, I celebrate you not only as an elder brother and friend but as a worthy son of the ancient Oyo Kingdom in whom we all take pride.
“Your journey as a successful businessman and an indigenous contractor with the Federal Government as well as your contributions to society are testimonies to your diligence, courage and determination to impart humanity and make a difference.
“May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen you, grant you many more years in good health and increase you in wisdom and prosperity. May your new age usher in greater accomplishments and fulfilment.
“Congratulations and happy birthday to our pride and an illustrious son of Oyo Alaafin, Alhaji Wasiu Adebisi,” Arole said.
He further prayed that the celebrant would continue to enjoy the support and goodwill of his family, friends, associates and the people of Oyo State as he enters another year of his life.
The former legislator also urged younger generations to draw inspiration from Alhaji Adebisi’s journey, stressing that his story demonstrates the importance of perseverance, hard work and dedication in achieving success.
