The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has express birthday felicitations to the Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, and Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, as both lawmakers celebrate their birthdays anniversary on February 14.

In a congratulatory message on Saturday, Olatunji described the coincidence of their birth on Valentine’s Day as symbolic, noting that the globally celebrated day of love and goodwill reflects their approach to public service and leadership.

He said both legislators have consistently demonstrated compassion, inclusiveness and people oriented representation in the discharge of their duties, adding that their commitment to humanity aligns with the spirit of the day.

The council chairman commended Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, who represents Ogbomoso South State Constituency in the 9th and 10th Assembly, for his leadership as Majority Leader.

According to him, Adedoyin has shown steadfast dedication to the legislative agenda of the House, promoting unity, maturity, and administrative resilience among members and ensuring seamless coordination of legislative activities.

Olatunji noted that the Majority Leader’s calm disposition, loyalty to the Speaker and sense of responsibility have continued to strengthen the Assembly and promote harmony within the institution.

He also lauded Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, who is representing Ibadan North Constituency I and chairs the House Committee on Women Affairs and Community Development, for her advocacy for women, children and vulnerable groups.

Describing her as compassionate and visionary, Olatunji said her initiatives in community development and social protection embody the ideals of service and responsive representation.

He added that her legislative interventions have continued to make meaningful impact across her constituency and beyond.

The Oluyole council boss stressed that both celebrants have distinguished themselves through selfless service, legislative excellence and sustained engagement with their constituents, thereby enhancing the image and productivity of the Assembly.

He prayed for renewed strength, wisdom and sound health for the lawmakers, expressing confidence that they would continue to contribute significantly to the growth and development of Oyo State.

Olatunji wished them many more years of purposeful service and greater accomplishments as they celebrate another year of life on a day widely associated with love and compassion.
