The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has expressed heartfelt birthday wishes to his counterpart in Ibadan South West LG counterpart, Hon. Kehinde Akande, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebration.
This was as Olatunji described him as a committed public servant and a worthy partner in grassroots governance.
In a felicitation statement on Saturday, Olatunji praised the celebrant’s leadership style and contributions to local government administration in Oyo State.
He noted that Akande’s dedication to service has continued to impact positively on the lives of residents.
He said the birthday anniversary presents an opportunity to acknowledge the role of local government chairmen in driving development at the grassroots
He added that collaboration between the two Councils remains critical to effective grassroots governance.
Olatunji expressed confidence that the IBSW council boss would continue to serve with integrity and a deep sense of responsibility, while wishing him good health, wisdom and renewed strength in the years ahead.
He also prayed for greater accomplishments in office, urging the celebrant to remain steadfast in the pursuit of policies and programmes that continues to promote peace, development and inclusive growth across the council.
He called for sustained unity among local government leaders in Oyo State in order to support the vision of good governance and people-oriented development being championed by Governor Seyi Makinde.
