Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has shared a glimpse into his holiday as he continues his annual vacation in the United States of America.

In a post on his official Facebook page on Monday, the governor revealed that he spent the past weekend with his family and close friends at Flushing Meadows, New York, where they watched the US Open Women’s and Men’s Singles Championship matches.

“It was lovely to catch up with family and friends as we watched the US Open Women and Men’s Singles Championship matches last weekend at Flushing Meadows, New York.

“Congratulations to the winners, Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz,” Makinde wrote.”

The governor’s update has attracted warm reactions from social media users who immediately flooded the comment section of his page to commend him for balancing leadership responsibilities with personal life.

Makinde, who is known for his hands-on leadership style in Oyo State, is currently taking time off official duties to spend quality moments with his immediate family.
