A member of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Isiaka Babatunde Kazeem, popularly known as Arole, has showered praises on the exemplary leadership and political guidance of Engr. Idris Adeoye FNSE, describing him as a source of inspiration and a dependable political leader.
Arole, who represented Oyo East/West state constituency in the last Oyo State House of Assembly, made this known in a congratulatory message on Sunday while celebrating Adeoye, an Oyo-born businessman, private contractor and prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
He described Adeoye as a leader whose commitment to the growth of his people, professional excellence and political development has continued to distinguish him among his contemporaries.
According to the former lawmaker, Adeoye’s leadership style has not only earned him respect across political and professional circles but has also positively influenced younger politicians and aspiring leaders who look up to him for direction and guidance.
He noted that his own political journey had benefited immensely from the counsel, encouragement and exemplary conduct of the APC chieftain.
“Your exemplary leadership continues to guide my political journey. Your commitment to excellence, your courage and your dedication to the progress of our people remain a source of inspiration to me,” Kazeem said.
The former lawmaker further acknowledged Adeoye’s contributions to the development of Oyo State, particularly through his activities as a successful entrepreneur, private contractor and political stakeholder.
He said leadership goes beyond occupying political positions, stressing that the ability to mentor others, build relationships and contribute meaningfully to society is what defines a true leader.
Arole therefore, expressed appreciation to Adeoye for his support and guidance over the years, praying that God would continue to grant him wisdom, good health and greater opportunities to contribute to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
He also described the relationship between political leaders and their younger associates as important to the sustenance of democratic governance, saying experienced leaders such as Adeoye have a responsibility to nurture the next generation of political actors.
