The founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has berated former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, over his recent comment suggesting that Nigeria may not survive if the All Progressives Congress (APC) returns to power in 2027.
In a strongly worded statement obtained by westernmirror.com.ng on Thursday, Maharaj Ji described El-Rufai’s remarks as “reckless, dangerous, and a familiar threat from a notorious figure.”
He also recalled that the former governor had issued similar warnings ahead of the 2015 presidential election during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Maharaj Ji stated that no individual, regardless of political status, has the right to threaten the corporate existence of Nigeria.
“Nigeria’s right to exist and excel is not the prerogative of politicians of the El-Rufai specie. Successive war-plans by El-Rufai and his group have been designed against Nigeria and all have been discreetly defeated by me as the Living Perfect Master,” he declared.
He accused El-Rufai of being a tool of foreign interests, bent on destabilizing the country through provocative statements.
He further recalled past tragedies allegedly linked to El-Rufai’s utterances, warning that such rhetoric would not be accepted ahead of the 2027 polls.
Maharaj Ji challenged El-Rufai to publicly prove his integrity by swearing before Nigerians that he never misappropriated funds during his service at the Bureau of Public Enterprises, the FCT Ministry, or as Governor of Kaduna State.
“If he truly has a clean record, let him appear on national television, take a glass of ordinary water, and swear that he did not steal a kobo while in office. Within four weeks, Nigerians will see the result,” he said.
Contrasting El-Rufai’s comment with current developments, Maharaj Ji commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his policies in education, power, customs reforms, and infrastructure.
He maintained that Tinubu has shown courage and sincerity of purpose within his first 18 months in office, insisting that the President will be re-elected in 2027 without rancor.
“President Tinubu has touched the hearts of Nigerians with bold reforms, restored hope in education, and blocked leakages that fueled corruption. Nigerians trust him to do more, and by the grace of the Creator, he will win the 2027 election peacefully,” Maharaj Ji stated.
Maharaj Ji equally reiterated his 1993 declaration that Nigeria is a “No War Zone,” stressing that efforts to instigate crisis will fail.
He cautioned El-Rufai and other political actors against promoting violence, urging them instead to support policies that foster unity and development.
“Evil has never and can never reign permanently anywhere in the world. Nigeria is not an exception. El-Rufai and his group of anti-African progressives will surely reap the consequences of their actions,” he warned.
The spiritual leader urged Nigerians across political divides to rally behind the Tinubu-led government to build a greater nation.
He emphasized his vision of “Africanocracy,” a system where unity, accountability, and cultural values drive governance.
“Let us celebrate the victory of light over darkness as we patiently move forward to birth a Divine Government in Africanocracy, where everyone becomes their brother’s keeper and peace prevails,” Maharaj Ji concluded.
