The Senior Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, and Director-General of the Oyo State Women Wing of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Apex Campaign Committee, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabor, popularly known as RAD, has expressed gratitude to God on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
The celebration, it was gathered is expected to bring together family members, friends, political leaders ans associates, women leaders, government officials and well-wishers to the venue of the grand reception to be held in Ibadan.
Dabor, a United States based entrepreneur and politician, who returned to Nigeria to contribute to the development of Oyo state under the leadership and administration of governor Makinde, has remained active in the political and administrative activities of the State since her rerun in 2019.
RAD used the occasion of her birthday anniversary to appreciate God for another year and milestone while expressing gratitude to those who she said had supported her throughout her journey in public service.
As Director-General of the Oyo State Women Wing of the APM Apex Campaign Committee, Dabor has also continued to play a prominent role in mobilising women and strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking exclusively with Westernmirror.com.ng on the significance of the occasion, RAD described herself as a dedicated public servant and grassroots politician whose passionate political activities have continued to attract attention, particularly among the women stakeholders.
She specifically thanked governor Makinde for spotting her political talent and offering her the ladder to climb up in her career.
She described governor Makinde as her mentor, father and leader, whose political trajectory and guidance have continued to shape her journey and decision making process.
She noted that the Makinde political camp is saturated with vibrant, skillful and versatile individuals who are young political leaders championing the course of visionary leadership and deepening democratic governance, stressing that being offered an opportunity to thrive politically amid such array of talents has emboldened her in her conviction to aspire for the peak of her aspirations.
She reaffirmed her commitment and dedication to the advancement of Omituntun 3.0 agenda for Oyo state.
She prayed for God’s continued protection, wisdom, good health and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
